Pilates
Pilates is an exercise method created by Joseph Pilates in the 1900’s and developed over the course of his lifetime. It is a form of body conditioning that focuses on core strength, flexibility, stability, and balance. Pilates is rooted in Six Principles: Centering, Control, Concentration, Flow, Breath and Precision. The goal of Pilates is to develop these principles to improve the mind-body connection. The Pilates Reformer and Cadillac are types of classical Pilates equipment that use spring resistance to accomplish these goals. At Premier PT, your Pilates sessions are one-to-one or a duet if you choose. Our highly trained instructors will safely work with you to lengthen and strengthen your physical body to achieve optimal alignment as well as positively affecting your mental well-being.
Many of our patients are introduced to Pilates during their rehabilitation in physical therapy. After discharge, the transition to private Pilates sessions is seamless as there is clear communication to our instructors about their new client. If you are interested in Pilates training, please call our office or email pilates@premierpthealth.com.
Pelvic Physical Therapy
Premier PT is proud to have collaborated with Essential Foundations Pelvic Physical Therapy to offer pelvic physical therapy services in our office. Owner, Rebecca Biland, PT, DPT, has been a practicing clinician in pelvic floor physical therapy for over 10 years.

Post-Rehab Personal Training
Premier PT is excited to offer Post-Rehab Personal Training! Do you have anxiety about going to the gym? Are you intimidated by all the equipment and are not sure what to do? Upon completion of your Physical Therapy program, it is highly encouraged that patients continue to progress their strength and conditioning via a home exercise program that is given at discharge by your physical therapist.
If you would like to continue to work on your fitness goals on a more personal level, having the guidance of our skilled personal trainer will ensure you perform exercises properly and in a safe environment. It will be a smooth transition from your physical therapist to personal trainer. Communication will occur to ensure proper precautions are taken based on your needs, with all programs being approved by your physical therapist. If you are interested in Post-Rehab Personal Training, please call our office or email simon@premierpthealth.com.
